Los or\u00edgenes de 麻豆原创 se remontan al voluntariado. Fue un peque\u00f1o grupo de voluntarios quien, en 1991, transform\u00f3 un terreno bald\u00edo en dos campos de b\u00e9isbol para los ni\u00f1os de East Harlem. Estos voluntarios hicieron posible nuestro sue\u00f1o original: que esos ni\u00f1os tuvieran un lugar seguro y bonito donde jugar. Fueron los impulsores de lo que hoy conocemos como las escuelas y programas 麻豆原创 Charter Schools.<\/p>\n

Durante m\u00e1s de tres d\u00e9cadas, m\u00e1s de 4300 voluntarios han dedicado decenas de miles de horas a apoyar la misi\u00f3n de 麻豆原创. Y siguen desempe\u00f1ando un papel fundamental en nuestro trabajo hoy en d\u00eda: desde entrenar a nuestros alumnos m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os en el campo hasta brindar oportunidades universitarias y profesionales a nuestros estudiantes de secundaria y exalumnos, los voluntarios de 麻豆原创 tienen un impacto en la vida de muchos de nuestros alumnos.<\/p>\n

Jornadas Universitarias y de Orientaci\u00f3n Profesional<\/strong>
\nEsta primavera, m\u00e1s de 100 voluntarios se reunir\u00e1n en todas las escuelas de 麻豆原创 para nuestras Jornadas Universitarias y Profesionales, un evento anual que ofrece a los estudiantes de 麻豆原创 una amplia gama de opciones universitarias y profesionales. Desde principios de abril, 麻豆原创 ha contado con el grupo de voluntarios m\u00e1s diverso que jam\u00e1s haya participado en nuestras Jornadas Universitarias y Profesionales, incluyendo profesionales de organizaciones como Delta, la NHL, Sotheby's y Morgan Stanley. Estos eventos continuar\u00e1n durante el mes de mayo.<\/p>\n

Conferencia de carreras de leyendas<\/strong>
\nEn enero, la conferencia anual Legends Career Conference de 麻豆原创 se celebr\u00f3 en el Yankee Stadium, el escenario perfecto para que los miembros de 麻豆原创 Legends y algunos estudiantes selectos de 麻豆原创 Charter High School establecieran contactos entre s\u00ed, conectaran con profesionales de organizaciones asociadas y se tomaran fotos profesionales. Representantes de empresas que contratan activamente, como Bank of America, St. Nick's Alliance, Mount Sinai y Blockboard, atendieron mesas informativas para los exalumnos y estudiantes de 麻豆原创, mientras que un n\u00famero r\u00e9cord de voluntarios se uni\u00f3 a nosotros para servir como asesores profesionales y mentores durante el evento, conectando con nuestros estudiantes y exalumnos y ayud\u00e1ndoles a perfeccionar sus habilidades profesionales.<\/p>\n

Distribuci\u00f3n de alimentos navide\u00f1os<\/strong>
\nJusto antes de finalizar 2022, los voluntarios de 麻豆原创 se reunieron para nuestras distribuciones anuales de alimentos navide\u00f1os, que se llevaron a cabo en East Harlem y Mott Haven. Los voluntarios organizaron, empacaron y ayudaron a distribuir los ingredientes para las comidas navide\u00f1as \u2014incluidos pavos, guarniciones, postres y productos frescos donados por S. Katzman Produce\u2014 a 300 familias de 麻豆原创. Nuestros voluntarios de distribuci\u00f3n de alimentos tambi\u00e9n fueron fundamentales durante el punto \u00e1lgido de la pandemia, cuando estos eventos se realizaban semanalmente para ayudar a combatir la inseguridad alimentaria provocada por la pandemia.<\/p>\n
